I am Iragantappa Badigera from Kalkeri (Talikoti Taluk). I established the Sri Siddhartha Vidyavardhaka Sangha for the children of the poor in our locality and opened the Sri Siddhartha Primary and High School under its aegis; the institution has been providing residential education to Scheduled Caste children from Class 1 to Class 10. ನಾನು ಈರಗಂಟೆಪ್ಪ ಬಡಿಗೇರ ಸಾ ಕಲಕೇರಿ ತಾ ತಾಳಿಕೋಟಿ ನಾನು ನಮ್ಮ ಸುತ್ತ ಮುತ್ತಲಿನ ಬಡವರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗಾಗಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ಧಾರ್ಥ ವಿದ್ಯಾವರ್ಧಕ ಸಂಘ ಸ್ಥಾಪಿಸಿದ್ದು ಸಂಘದ ಅಡಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ಧಾರ್ಥ ಪ್ರಾಥಮಿಕ ಹಾಗೂ ಪ್ರೌಢ ಶಾಲೆ ತೆರೆದು ಪ್ರಸ್ತುತ 1ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ಯಿಂದ 10 ನೇ ತರಗತಿ ವರೆಗೆ ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಜಾತಿಯ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ವಸತಿ ಸಹಿತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡುತ್ತಾ ಬಂದಿದೆ

We run the Shri Siddhartha Residential School for talented, underprivileged students from our region; the Government of India provides financial assistance to the school, enabling us to offer free residential education to 100 Scheduled Caste students annually. ನಾವು ಶ್ರೀ ಸಿದ್ಧಾರ್ಥ ವಸತಿ ಶಾಲೆಯನ್ನು ನಮ್ಮ ಭಾಗದ ಪ್ರತಿಭಾವಂತ ಬಡ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ತೆರೆದು ನಡೆಸಿಕೊಂಡು ಬರುತ್ತಿರುವ ಈ ಶಾಲೆಗೆ ಭಾರತ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಆರ್ಥಿಕ ನೆರುವು ನೀಡುತ್ತಿದ್ದು ಪ್ರತಿ ವರ್ಷ 100 ಪರಿಶಿಷ್ಟ ಜಾತಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ ವಸತಿ ಸಹಿತ ಉಚಿತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣ ನೀಡಲಾಗುತ್ತಿದೆ.
